Enjoyable and comfortable

Pros: The property was freshly renovated, very clean, nicely furnished, in a quiet neighbourhood. It had a balcony with a laundry rack (practical for drying swimwear after a day at the beach), the air conditioners in living room and bedroom worked well and were very silent. Wifi functioned well. The host (Dessy) was very helpful, and always replied really fast. I had asked for a late check-out as our plane left only in the evening, and that was no problem (much appreciated!). Supermarkets and restaurants are not far off.

Cons: The beach is a bit of a walk away. The nearest beach is the stretch that starts directly next to the harbour (20 min), but we preferred the quieter family stretch (at officer's beach) which was a good half hour's walk. However, most of that walk traverses the length of Varna's shady Sea Garden, so we actually enjoyed it.
