Olive Villas Beach Hotel

A nice and modern place, with a few issues.

Pros: Nice place on the seaside. Very pleasant and responsive staff. It has its own beach area and you can book umbrellas/sun-beds for free as a guest. A small swimming pool. Rooms are nicely decorated and modern (with some issues, see below). You have to take a lot of steep stairs to get down to the beach (and back up), but it’s a nice exercise. Free EV chargers (2 pcs) at the free parking, if you have an electric vehicle.

Cons: Interior space design needs improvement - for example, the desk is positioned in front of the TV, so if you sit to work, you’ll block the TV for other people (and yes, there is a second TV in the bedroom, but that’s not an excuse for bad interior design). No elevators (i.e. not suitable for Americans). They utilised every centimetre of the limited plot they had which makes it feel a bit crammed.

Sozopol… an unexpected nice surprise. Olive Villas certainly a place to come back to

Pros: Location, free access to the beach and private parking. Staff friendly and except the ladies doing room service they all spoke good english. The view was great, restaurant very cosy.

Cons: Breakfast basic, the room service was done only upon request… but anyway the ladies were nice and helpful

Pros: Very nice hotel, location is very good. Very clean with friendly staff.

Cons: I would recommend to improve the quality of the breakfast.

Everything was exceptional, except the food. For a such nice place, food should be on the same level.

Pros: Rooms are well furnished and designed, with everything you need - like hairdryer. It was very quiet which is perfect for a nice restful vacation.

Cons: The food at the restaurant and on the beach. For example, on the beach you have option to order 2-3 things like pizza, burger, fries - 90% of the time, they were delivered cold. Also, for such a pricey food, to give a burger with just fried chicken and rubber cheese, was a negative experience.

World class gem - the best!

Pros: Very high standards in quality, beautifully designed, excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful staff the reception desk and in the restaurant - even at the jet ski place which has nothing to do with the hotel - but there is a wonderful vibe in the whole area, which is much different from other Sozopol areas. Comfortable beds on the beach with excellent service and a wide variety of drinks and food. Large parking area, free for guests. Marvellous sea view from the balcony and from the restaurant. It recently opened - I hope they keep it up and don't get spoiled by horrible tourists. Actually I am reluctant to share this hidden gem.

Cons: Rooms and pool are very small, bathroom too small - but the rest makes up for this.

Pros: The staff was exceptional. The facilities of the hotel and the beach was the highlight for me. The huge parking gives you peace of mind if you’re traveling with a personal vehicle.

Cons: The size of the room, even though it was labelled as deluxe. There was no wardrobe in the room - just a few shelves, which supposedly act as a wardrobe. Also the breakfast was not tasty enough for a five star hotel.

Pros: Wonderful location on a very quiet beach. Really friendly staff and very smart rooms.

Cons: The air conditioning didn’t work and unfortunately opening the balcony doors wasn’t an option because we were next to smokers and with a three year old.

Great cozy hotel by the sea!

Pros: Wonderful new hotel. Small, clean and cozy with great sea views. Staff is young, but well trained and smiling! We were well received and guided around the hotel by Venelina. We had some concerns with the number of stairs to our room and she moved us to a new room. The room, balcony and furniture is comfortable. The beach in front is sandy and shallow. We really liked the free sunbeds and umbrella as well as the option to reserve our spot for the stay. Breakfast was good. Complimentary coffee and water in the room every day. The 3 saunas and wellness center were clean and not overcrowded. Having a free parking in that area was great. You can come and go as you wish without worrying. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it!

Cons: There is no closet space for clothes or suitcase . The hangers were very high and not practical for a shorter person. For a 5 star hotel a bathrobe would have been nice. The bathroom towels were a little bit small and toilet paper was of a lower quality. Location: for most of the restaurants you need to take your car or taxi. No entertainment in the area.

We were absolutely delighted, recommend it strongly. Will most certainly return next summer.

Pros: Property is quite new, built with very good taste and very well kept. All personnel are very hard working, nice, polite and efficient.

Cons: Hard to say something bad, maybe breakfast quality can be improved- honey was missing and made more international

Amazing stay

Pros: Amazing warm pool with great view to the sea. Room was with sea view, everything you need for summer vacation.
