Efbet Hotel

Good value, great location

Pros: Good hotel but it is also a casino - not a fan, they appeal mostly to the vulnerably addicted. If you can go in there and happily lose a few bob, perfect!

All was good

Pros: The romm which i booked was single but they gave double but was small compared to 4 star tea and coffe maker was there but drinking water not provided Breakfast was good as they gave me what ordered[ala carta] as I need only halal with fruits egg bread coffee. Near by there is turkish restaurant halal food hotel didnt charge me for early checking was very friendly all Car will not come near we need to walk TC if toomuch luggage hat off to both of lady reception who was very helpful and cooperative and smiling face as my first stay in Bulgaria.

Cons: Water felt like oily after the bath

Very nice room, great location and great value

Pros: Very nice room, top-quality mattress. The location is really good too, right in the centre of Varna. The front desk people were always helpful. Great value. The beach is really nice and the freebie public thermal pool is brilliant - you can hop between the sea and the thermals,which are at about 40C, I''d guess, as you never get cold, even after the sun starts slinking off. The sea park is really nice too, a lovely big green park with lots of trees and paths for walking, jogging or cycling etc. It is great to see it being so well used by the locals. Restaurant recommendation: Staria Chinar Preslav- there are 2 Staria Chinar restaurants in Varna, go to the one NOT on the main drag - it's big and busy. Cons: Efbet is actually a betting company (spot the clue!) - they seem to support a lot of Bulgarian football. The ground floor of the hotel is a casino, mostly full of one-armed bandits, as far as I could see. These places are fine if you go in knowing the odds are stacked against you and it's just a bit of fun. That's not how it is for many unfortunate punters though so I'm not a fan of these places. If you go, go for fun, indifferent to the losses. One of the bedside lights didn't work. They tried to fix it in the time we were there but it needed to be replaced. So probably fixed by now (room 32). Was impressed with the service, the problem was not ignored

Pros: Great location. Helpful and friendly staff especially reception. Great shower, towels etc.. Good value food

Cons: No cups provided for drinks, no tea/coffee

Clean and cozy place at a reasonable price

Pros: Great place with friendly staff and cleaners willing to help in English with shower soap, room cleaning, etc. Toilet and shower are modern and bed is comfortable and clean. The surroundings are quiet and very close to the city center and beaches. Willing to come back to the accommodation.

Pros: Location is perfect. Location is very good for city sightseeing, but not good for beach travel. They offered me free parking at near municipal park place.

Cons: The room smelled a bit humidity, but it was fine after opening the windows. You can not arrive unti the door of the hotel by car, you need to walk across the square. The bed is not comfortable.

Pros: Great location, very good level of cleanliness and comfort. Friendly staff. Mini bar available in the room.

Cons: Breakfast possibility was stated as “very good” which suggests normally open buffet type however a la carte breakfast (several options) only available. Some extra stuff like shower cap, cotton buds, body lotion, etc. should be added into the room (normal for 4-star hotel).

Pros: Super central location. Comfortable, large and clean room.

Cons: Everything was just fine. As a very small improvement I would suggest a small electric tea kettle in the room.
