A feeling of how hotels used to be.

Pros: The Hotel was exactly as advertised. A grand hotel in name and facilities. I stayed with a group of eleven friends. We all had huge 'suite sized' bedrooms, each with a large bathroom, a good compliment of bathroom gels etc plus a coffee and coffee machine. The staff we met from Reception, Night Porter, Chambermaid and breakfast were all very friendly and helpful. The location added to the success of our trip, with the hotel being in a prime central location with restaurants, bars and shops close at hand.

Beautiful setting

Pros: The location was excellent, beautiful rooms and lovely furniture/atmosphere, a truly beautiful hotel and history. The breakfast was good with a great selection of teas and food. Enjoyed our stay here immensely just a shame we had to leave so early for the airport 😁

Cons: WiFi was a bit on and off but otherwise could not fault the hotel, just lovely
