Alua Helios Bay - All Inclusive

Nice hotel, great food, good holidays!

Pros: “Great all-inclusive stay in Obzor, Bulgaria. The beachfront location is perfect—easy choice between a swim in the sea or the hotel pool. Food was very good: fresh, tasty, and varied. Beds were comfortable, rooms spotless with daily cleaning, staff were excellent, animations well run, the beach was clean, and the draft beer was good quality.

Cons: Downsides: spirits were low quality, cocktails too sweet, house wine disappointing, and the town of Obzor itself isn’t very interesting.”

Exceptional service and polite staff, great location and perfect experience

Pros: Excellent location, the hotel is located just by the beach. Staff is extremely polite and helpful, with attention to detail and high quality of service, fast and responsive. Restaurant was great with big variety of delicious dishes and desserts. Animation team was very friendly and professional, kids loved the activities and we loved the morning exercises. My Favourite Club option was really worth it. We’ll be happy to return next year.

Cons: Everything was exceptional, we really loved our stay.

Pros: The staff was extremly helpful. Our apartment was very specious and clean, the view was amazing. The food was very delicious and various.

Pros: Excellent facilities, nice view, very tasty food, friendly and polite personnel in the restaurant. But in the restaurant ONLY!

Cons: Terrible attitude at the reception- arrogant, unhelpful and making nasty comments when asked for help. I would suggest if these people are unhappy with their job to better quit instead of creating bad image for the hotel. I was dissatisfied of their service per phine and on the spot too. Another thing I disliked is the parking- one should pay 15bgn a day for parking that is even not secured. Doesn‘t communicate high-end hotel to me!

Another great stay

Pros: We came back at the end of the summer for a second stay at Alua Helios Bay, because we love the hotel, the beach and the amenities. A special note for the restaurant; very good cuisine et many choices of food. Very good wine also. We'll surely come back the next season.

Cons: The Thai restaurant was open only in our first evening and we couldn't have a table because no reservation, even if many tables were available. We wonder what the badge \

Overall would certainly return. Food good, bedroom much more than adequate.

Pros: Choice very good in restaurant although quite noisy and very busy in this area with queuing. Room extremely comfortable. A free bottle of sparkling wine in the room to help us celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary. Certainly a lovely touch and we were very grateful. Thank you. Close proximity for parking and the sea.

Cons: Queuing in restaurant. One lift out of order and long wait for the lift.

Nice place for a longer stay

Pros: Nice hotel, nice location, food options were decent and food was of good quality.

Pros: We loved the size of the room, there was plenty of space, the food was nice and there are a lot of spaces for activities with children.

Cons: The pool area seemed a bit dated and the water was really cold, things stated by some friends that were here mid-jully, when the outside temperatures were very high.

Great for a family vacation.

Pros: breakfast was beautiful plenty of options and a wonderful sea view restaurant. coffee was very good and if you are going with your family you will have a wonderfull time you don't even need to leave the hotel during the day. Rooms were very clean and they were cleaned very early in the morning.

Cons: Parking is a problem hotel should be providing free parking but they charge extra, we booked a room with 1 two person bed and 1 single person bed but they gave us a room with 1 two person bed and a couch and there are no sunbeds on the beach it would be better if there was
